So I had a Heart Attack Symptoms In Women Over 50 a few weeks
ago totally random I'm in relatively good health I don't have any hard Chris
per se and if you want to find out what happened and how I lived to tell about
it stay till of done hungry here with a bud and today I am gonna talk about
something a little bit more space.
Signs of Heart Attack
Serious and I hope that my experience my help someone and maybe
make people more aware the different possibilities or possibly
save a life first I need to make a little disclaimer I'm not a
medical professional everything I'm gonna tell you is just my
personal experience from you always need to check with a doctor
or a medical professional.
If your gonna change anything or if you have any questions or
you you need help and if you ever think anything is wrong or
that there's something not right you need to call 911 a doctor
or some buddy in the medical profession and its better that
you're wrong.
Than dead do so I was in a great mood not stressed out really
relax and having my hair done which usually is never a stressful
situation always a good time so what'd I feel I well it started
I'm in the cheer I had this just weird pain almost like an a week.
In my right armpit which is totally not what you would expect to
hear and or have happened and that's one of the reasons I really wanted to do
this particular video not because I wanted to tell you all about my Heart Attack Symptoms In Women Over 50 but because women's symptoms are not the same
as men and they're not the ones.
Everybody knows about and we have a much different set have symptoms
and sometimes they can be very random they can change they can stop and then
start again so I thought it was really really important to tell my story so
they you could see firsthand from someone that is healthy that doesn't have all
the typical things that you would expect to see from the heart patient or heart attack victim and it can happen is it a fluke
Yeah I am i a medical mystery absolutely even the doctor said
that but that doesn't mean he can't happen to somebody else even if it doesn't
happen to you your inevitably going to have somebody that it will happen to a
friend or family member and to know and understand.
What they're going to 30 could be really important to for you
to be more compassionate and understanding the way back to my
right arm pain on my armpit feeling weird kinda like it ache that started to
radiate down my arm almost like mine veins were on fire and electric if that
makes sense and and I who totally was noticing it well my hair dressers cutting
my hair and talking and she was trying to talk to me and I was having a
difficulty carry on a conversation and and staying on track.
Chest Pain
Like I just wouldn't be able to answer her not because I didn't
have the words or something but I was it was so painful that
I couldn't concentrate on what she was saying and I was paying
attention to it thinking okay that's really we're running my arm
and then I for getting really nauseous and I was thinking a oh
well I'm not just because a pain because it it well he hurts and at that point
it started to go into I just by then I started to feel like this.
Pressure on my chest and almost like someone was sitting on my
Chester but the in a very contained area like great in the center and it would
you rate in it radiated out again with this like he almost electric St having
would be wrong but you know pain and I knew actually because something.
I had seen on television the Barbara Walters special that she
did on that I think it was called life and death or something like that on her
heart surgery that she had and then I started
getting really dizzy and in my mind I'm thinking it's gonna go
away and I'm gonna feel like an idiot if I have a whole big commotion and good
lord I was gonna have an ambulance
can cause that wouldn't seriously embarrassing a and I didn't
want to be.
A burden so and I think that's really typical a women any don't
want to cause a commotion you don't have to see you
don't want to be a burden you got so much crap going on you you
need to just keep on going and so you know you underscore what's
happening to you and I think that's your biggest mistake and I
almost made that mistake because I was just sure it would end up
being nothing.
Heart Attack First Aid
what are the biggest mistake that I did make when I did decide
that the ER probably was a good idea because in my symptoms I was starting to
have difficulty breathing and and the pressure wasn't going on away and the
pain was just excruciating my right arm.
So because a ball that i was thinkin okay I should probably go
and have this checked out just in case and which was a good
thing and definitely something that a lot a ladies don't do
it does go away and then be am you know in a few hours later
her twenty-four hours later you have the mother of all heart
attacks.
Which in my case had i emphasize it would have been a serious
issue because I would've been an airplane to the big thing I did wrong was I
let my friend take me to the ER because at the time it seemed reasonable it
would've been faster and to be completely honest I didn't want the I didn't
want to be that lady that had the ambulance can afterwards.
I was told by that people in the ER in the nurses up in the
cardiac unit that would have been a really bad idea had I rested and she be
driving me and she couldn't than anything the other thing that she told me was
the ER and nurses was that if you've been in the ambulance they totally and it
take your pkg they'd
it take your vitals they haul the hospital the hospital knows
you're coming.
They're all set up and ready for you could be there in a cardiac
re way and that saves you a lot of time and it could actually
save your life had me wielded for my blood pressure which is like two hundred
and something over 100 and something which is really high and and they realized
it hey this was not just a typical panic attack or something like that not to
diminish a
panic attack they're awful.
I suppose I've heard and but they rush me into this other par
where and they were setting up that is for cardiac patients I had you know to
you like these stuck in my arm they put nitro under my town like 3am it was it
mayhem everywhere I kept on
asking for my husband I had earlier called him in told him that
I was going to the hospital and I thought I was having a heart attack.
So he was coming from work but at everything started happening
and I you know was like you know where's my husband my husband's I hear and by
then my the cardiologists came and he looked at my stuff and he said to me he
says okay will you either having a heart attack or you could have fluid around
your lungs army not your lungs but your heart and that could be what it is to
you in
with your.
You know lack thereof symptoms that this in the sense that I'm
you know not diabetic I don't have hypertension I don't have high cholesterol
all those things his I'm gonna County maybe guest that you have and flew around
your heart because you just
aren't your typical hard you're fifty-years-old for god sakes in
he did say that he's like you're fifty-years-old you're young he's he says but
I'm gonna have to take you up the cath lab we're gonna run.
It and wire something a2 through your grind up into your heart
and we're gonna tests and see if there's blockage or see if
there's fluid or whatever is going on and and I remember saying and that's when
I started to cry and now is in it terrible pain and they were giving me
morphine and they were and you know trying to make it as comfortable as
possible but then I started crying and I said my husband's not here so if I
would die he.
I'm wouldn't be there and it would just kill him I know it would
he got there he was there it and just then turned around the the
corner and I saw min and I said the series here my husband's here in So you
know they real meowing he you know well.
The doctor told him really quick what was going on on and then
they wheel me out in they took me and down the hall and they were going up to
the calf leather moonroof ass was kinda like in the movies you know I was being
on things they actually a much
shot peter into the the door in the elevator but and you know
and then we got to a point in their life I remember them say
you know you to my husband you know you have to stay here.
Will take good care for and I remember you know as I was going
up I was just I remember praying you know I need to see my kids I have to see
my kids again I'm not gonna die here that's not going to happen so you know I
add all the way in into the cath lab I was you notice I was praying I don't
wanna die and I do remember they put in the dying.
You know your body gets really warm and you know he was looking
there's a lot of talking and and they're all so sweet they all have one thing
in your you can be okay we're going take good care for you and and I guess
after the fact I found it he did tell me and he did show me actually now I can
remember and the screen so they at initially couldn't see anything and we're
thinking okay.
There's no blockage but sure enough I did have a heart attack
and it was in my left eye they are to and it was way down low
where it started I'm artery and it started to Nero and i got
really Nero on and that's where the blockage pledged totally blocked and say
and so sure not it was fluid but it
was a full-on heart attack and so what they let me do because up
my health and because it was good and I didn't have a lot of the
on issues and they let me have what they call a controlled heart
attack.
They were gonna let it happen and then encourage your medication
but my sis my body to naturally bypass around the blockage and get that artery
flowing again so you know I ended up back in the and a cardiology and
department for three days in the hospital they were wonderful they're super
nice and and me for me it was different I'm not your typical heart attack
person.
You know when I'm with I'm really young and who I didn't have a
lot of the earn pre-existing situations that would denote a Heart Attack Symptoms In Women Over 50 I or
cause a heart attack and so and you know I I was there and that you know they
put me on some different medications
when I came home so I'm on plastics and liggett war and med
proper all or something yes like that and then a baby aspirin
and I have nitro in cases they didn't clear it and that
you know I can still and do you still have pressure one now I'm
a few weeks out like three almost weeks out and so the pressure is last but I
do have like a weird flutter like butterflies in my heart cuz.
I have a guess an irregular heartbeat or something for but they
have me on this medicare medicine to keep my heart homer so that it doesn't
letter like that but it it does and known so a obviously I can't do a lot I can
I just now got back on regular say arm mu you know back in exercise and
knocking go back and play tennis and stuff like that and after three weeks I'll
be able to sell on not quite yet the big thing I want to and I am gonna put
links to you wanna.
Barbara Walters special cuz you can get all links to her special
that was really helpful to me and I'll and I'll do you think there's going to
be a couple more links to just and women's heart health i'd is really want
women to understand and know that it's not always what you think you may not be
especially if you have a family history of heart disease.
Heart Attack Treatment
Even know you're in the best of health and my doctor sent me
home saying you know a I can't tell you to eat differently great I can tell you
to exercise more you do it is really really want people know that it could
happen and you need to pay attention to your body anything ever ever think
there's something wrong don't feel like he'd be stupid don't feel like people
would and and if anybody makes you feel especially in hospital like you were a
burden or an idiot for coming in and that's bad on them.
Because its like I said it's preferable to be false then dead
I'm not broken now and on I I'm gonna go right back to doing what I always did
as well I always did with good and I'm not gonna stop that and and if nothing
else I want to now realize I mean I think the big thing is like things that you
wanted to do you in like this year because I turn 50 I had a bucket list and I
had all these fun things that I have been putting off will now since I've had
this Heart Attack Symptoms In Women Over 50 it's like even more relevant than.
I do the things I I wanna do I have fun you know and I A a
encourage all everybody don't want to have a heart attack or some light
shattering changing situation to go for it do you stop I mean try things and it
doesn't necessarily have to be
expensive vacations or huge remodels or or something like that
that would be nice but he doesn't have to be huge I mean just
United cue what makes you happy as long as it's not a legal and
and you know in the do do the things.
That you're putting off till tomorrow thinking there always will
be more time could you just never know there might not be more time and you arm
you know might miss out on something amazing the big thing that I learned from
this is that I you do have till tomorrow but you never know what that tomorrow
is and in what capacity you'll be in you know there you have it.
I hope this helps I hope this makes a difference in somebody's
life and like I always say everything in life is better when you
embellish but this story was an embellished so
please take it to heart and make a difference thank you.
